Handwoven vintage poncho from Peru. Fine and densely woven stripes in natural colors of alpaca - coffee and chocolate browns - mixed with deep red and pink wool. Textile measures 56” in width and 62” in length (31” when pulled over the head and worn). This authentic poncho was handwoven for practical use, not for the tourist industry. It shows some occasional marks of handwork and daily working wear.
